Objective 4
Objective 4

These technologies provide students with practice doing basic math problems by giving them concrete pictures to help them visualize the processes, an important teaching pedagogy. As a teacher I would use this as a supplemental activity to the math concepts we were studying at the time. For example, after a lesson on multiplication I would explain the online activity to the students and let them play it during computer time.

Pedagogy and Technology:
This website gives several different ideas for writing prompts- settings, characters, events, etc. The other website offers help with writing and proofreading through fun games and activities that include age-appropriate interesting explanations. Such an approach to writing makes it fun and exciting rather than a chore for students.
Lesson:
I would first introduce the proofreading activities to the students and encourage them to complete several activities to learn about proper writing techniques. Then, I would display a picture from the website for students to write a creative story from, using those techniques they’d learned about earlier.
